Born in Germany, Ried has distant French Cajun and Indian heritage. She grew up as an army brat and was raised primarily in southern California. She attended college for two years studying mechanical engineering.

Career

She made her on-screen debut in Young Ripe Mellons 7 in 2005. In October 2007, Ried became a contract star for Third Degree Films.
